At times, when I had fallen away, I often thought I needed to get my act together before coming back to God. I believed I had to clean up my swearing, my health, my anger, my... but none of that mattered because I could never earn the Gift of Christ! The redemptive power of Christ could never be earned! It is a gift of Grace, freely given, never earned!
